Speaker – This month we invited along Bertha Brown who is a Pharmacist from Warrington who came along and gave a very interesting talk about what Pharmacies have to offer and to inform us about NHS care in the chemist. Please see separate page which will inform you about NHS care in the chemist.
Funding – I have applied for £2,000 funding from HBC for our monthly meetings, newsletters and overhead costs and also have applied for funding from Boshier-Hinton Foundation for social events.
Pat Wright has put us forward for funding from her insurance company Engage Mutual. People have to vote for us to get this funding and voting starts on 8th April through to 31st May, please take the time to vote for HALDS and ask friends and family to do the same. Pathway to vote is www.engagemutual.com then click on Engage Foundation, click on Find out more, click on Community awards, Location is North West, Category is Health & Social Care, then click into HALDS. I will try and send a link button for the web site to those members on line. Spread the word the more votes and more chance we have of winning
