September newsletter

I hope you all enjoyed your summer holidays and feel all refreshed to start our new Autumn season and run up to Christmas.

We have a lot of social events leading up to Christmas and I hope I have covered all members tastes with meals out, parties and pantomines.

For our next meeting on Monday 25th September, Natalie Marron is coming along to give us a talk on ‘Care in the Chemist’ which I thought appropriate with the onset of winter.

October meeting – Please note the meeting in October is now on Monday 23rd and not 30th, our guest speaker for this meeting will be Shelagh Thornhill from the Bridge Building team

Mon 27th November – This year we are not holding a Christmas fair, in place PUGs ukulele band will be coming along to entertain us again, we will have a Christmas buffet for lunch and will also have a tombola stall and raffle.

To help me out, as from Septembers meeting Glenis and Eileen will be collecting monies for social events, they will issue receipts to you for any monies paid.

Don’t forget with winter coming along, now is the time to contact your Electricity supplier to register for your Warm Home Discount of £140, please ask me if you are unsure what warm home discount is all about.
