NEWSLETTER August 2018
Our speaker for the July meeting should have been Emma Allen from NHS Direct who was coming along to talk to us about GP Extra. Unfortunately she didn’t turn up, but when I got home, Emma had sent an e-mail at 9.10am that morning advising of her being unable to attend. In her absence I informed the meeting about GP Extra and what it is all about and handed out leaflets. GP Extra is additional appointment times for routine appointments which you can attend Mon-Fri 6.30-9pm and Sat-Sun 9am – 3.30pm. There are clinics based at Heath Road Medical Centre, 78 Heath Road Crescent, Runcorn, WA7 5TJ or Widnes Health Care Resource Centre, Oaks Place, Caldwell Rd, Widnes, WA8 7GD. These appointments are pre-bookable and same day appointments. For appointment please contact your own GP surgery.
